7v7 Travel Program
Players in 1st-3rd grade and possibly 4th grade (born 2016 and older) will primarily be placed in the U09-U10 divisions, this is Highland Youth Soccer's introduction to travel soccer where players will be dividend into boys and girls teams and placed in the appropriate age/skill based teams. Travel assessments are held once per year in late May/early June. The focus at this level is on team environment where playing time is equal for all players. Players will learn tactics of the game including field positions, defending as a group and attacking the opposing goal. 7v7 travel is for players of all skill levels, not just highly skilled players.
